Mallorca benefits from the hot Mediterranean sun, refreshing sea breezes and mild winters. Many of the popular tourist resorts are located by the sea which can provide very lazy days, water sport activities or plenty of other things to do. There are numerous restaurants, cafes, bars and nightclubs dotted around the South Coast, with plenty of opportunity to dance the night away! However, away from the resorts of Mallorca, inland towns are fairly undeveloped and offer a more relaxed way of life, with many interesting attractions.A great deal of Mallorca still remains untouched by tourism and together with other nearby islands, is popular with the rich and famous. There are plenty of options available if you're thinking of retiring here or buying a holiday home.
Climate...
Mallorca enjoys mild winters and hot summers,
keeping visitors to the island happy! During the summer months the weather is both hot and
sunny and there are close to 11 hours of sun each day. Through the winter months of November
to March, the weather is still pleasant with mild days for the majority of the time, but with
a few days of much needed rain. However this doesn't last for long!
Beaches...With over 70 beaches, the island of Mallorca has many excellent facilities provided with most of these and plenty of fine golden sand.The larger beaches can include a variety of water sports including diving, jet skis and banana boats! Bars and cafes also line the more predominant beaches. If you are after tranquility from your day at the beach then do not worry, as there are many un-spoilt coves for the perfect hideaway.
Golf...It's almost unforgivable not to enjoy a round of golf here on the island of Mallorca. With numerous courses to chose from, fantastic club houses and all within easy reach, Mallorca is renown for being a golfers paradise.
